
Dr Sara Baratchi is the founder and co-leader of the ‘Mechanobiology & Microfluidics Research Group’ at the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. She has published >60 journal papers and has received several grants and fellowships worth >$1.2M. Her research focuses on vascular biology, mechanobiology of ageing vessels, mechanosensitive ion channels, and vessel-on-chip models of atherosclerosis.

Associate Professor Khashayar Khoshmanesh is the co-leader of the ‘Mechanobiology & Microfluidics Research Group’ at the School of Engineering, RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. He is the named authored of >150 journal publications, and the recipient of several awards, fellowships, and grants worth >$1.5M. His research interests include microfluidics, microfabrication, computational fluid dynamics, hemodynamics, and organ-on-a-chip models of the human cardiovascular system.
